The EMC and SDG&E partnership is determined to provide DBE companies with the tools necessary to succeed in a competitive business environment. Together, the EMC and SDG&E aims to provide multifaceted support for growth of DBE businesses through fundamental academic resources, consulting from leaders in the field who have years of experience, and valuable networking opportunities through the establishment of solid partnerships with SDG&E executives. In turn, companies will deepen their relationships with SDG&E and SDSU while moving forward with the continued strategic growth of their business.

The Entrepreneurial Management Center (EMC) at San Diego State University works closely with several other partners and support organizations in San Diego to support small businesses. The EMC serves students, entrepreneurs and business leaders through its innovative entrepreneurial curriculum, workshops, internships, resources and events. The purpose of the EMC is to provide the necessary tools and skills for the creation and growth of local companies as well as promotes better knowledge and understanding of the entrepreneur process through experimental learning.
